Summer Inquiry Has Begun Print E-mail

RCIA BEGINS JUNE 10TH

Summer inquiry sessions are the beginning of the RCIA process for those who desire to become a fully initiated Catholic next Easter. It is also for those who just want to find out a little more about the Catholic faith. There is NO arm twisting. You are encouraged to ask questions and bring friends or family. Anyone can attend these meetings, whether they are non-Catholic or Catholic.

If you are not Catholic, and your child/children attend Bishop John Carroll School, come and find out what your children are learning.

If you are a Catholic who is a member here at Our Lady's Cathedral, invite someone you know who has questions about the Catholic faith.  Give them encouragement and even come to these sessions with them.

These summer inquiry sessions will be held in the Monsignor Conner Center on June 10, June 24, July 8, July 22, August 5 and August 19. For more information, call Deacon Paul Lewis, RCIA Director, (405) 525-4161 or e-mail him at  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Very Special Thanks... Print E-mail
...to the Knights of Columbus, Council 1038 for a gift of ten thousand dollars for the Cathedral heat and air-conditioning drive. The support of the Knights of Columbus is invaluable to us. Their charitable works for our parish and for the Church at large is a witness to the Gospel of Jesus and to the spirit of their founder. Please join with me in thanking the Knights of Columbus for this tremendously generous gift.

Sister BJ's Pantry May Results Print E-mail

Incredible! You’ve done it again! We collected 1142 pairs of athletic tube socks. These much-needed items of clothing will be distributed by Sr. Barbara Joseph and her volunteers to the homeless throughout the coming months. Your kindness to Christ, most present in the poor, is a great blessing.

The weekend of June 7 & 8, 2008 is the date for collecting bottled water for Sr. BJ’s Pantry for the homeless. Can you believe we have been assisting Sister for one year?!
