COMMUNITY is what being the Body of Christ is all about. Have you ever longed to be a part of something bigger than yourself? Have you ever thought you might need a way to deepen your faith, or make a difference in the life of someone else? All of those things are possible (and likely) for those who are willing to give a few months of their life to volunteer to walk the Christian Initiation (RCIA) journey with someone else as a sponsor. The Christian Initiation process is not just about those who are interested in learning more and/or becoming Catholic. It is the responsibility of our entire community to be the Body of Christ to those who come to us wanting more. Please prayerfully consider attending a Christian Initiation meeting beginning Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 7:00 pm in Connor Center. We will discuss the Christian Initiation process and what is required of a sponsor. All are welcome to attend to learn more.
