A lot is going on this summer in preparation for our future. We currently are converting the library into a state-of-the-art science lab. We have long wanted a better science facility but coming up with a master plan for the best use of our space has made us move slowly and prudently. We believe the science lab will be completed by late summer or early fall. The school library is being temporarily relocated to the Connor Center Board Room. We anticipate hiring an architect to design a new entrance to the school which will include a relocation of the school offices to the main entrance. We hope, within the next 12 - 24 months, to relocate the library back into the main school building in the area of the current offices. I am very grateful to the School Advisory Committee headed by John Joyce. I am also deeply indebted to Steve Jacobi, Brad Edmonds and Bentley Edmonds for undertaking the daunting task of relocating the library after Edie Lewis did an incredible job of cataloging the books and preparing them for the move. We have great volunteers, great parents and a great staff. Enrollment is currently very strong, slightly over 190 even though we are early in the summer. GREAT THINGS ARE HAPPENING at Bishop John Carroll School. Please know that the school staff and families are grateful for the tremendous support of our parish.
