A Word of Thanks:

As the New Year arrives I want to say thank you to so many for making the Holy Days of Christmas and various additional events so very successful.

For the many extra hours of rehearsal on the part of the choir, the extra effort on the part of the ushers, deacons, sacristans, servers and seminarians, my most sincere thanks to you all. I would note too that there were a great many volunteers who helped with my Mass of Investiture on December 30th. They made for a beautiful liturgy and reception. Their eagerness to be of help was very heartwarming. A special Mass and reception with the Vietnamese-American community capped off the events last Sunday. It was a truly memorable event.

And of course, we cannot forget the ice and snow! We had wonderful snow removal volunteers who came Christmas Eve and over the weekend without being asked, shoveling and helping those already stuck from the blizzard. The effort were begun by Bentley Edmonds with the help of John Kurjan, Mike Harris, Brad Edmonds, Pat Reilly, Harvey Ockert and other willing souls. God bless you all!
