Dr. Christopher Ganza has earned awards for his playing, including First Prize in the Paul and Ruth Manz Scholarship Competition, the Albert Schweitzer Organ Festival National Competition, the University of Michigan Organ Improvisation Competition, and the John R. Rodland Memorial Scholarship Competition. Notable recital appearances include the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, WI, the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL, and Baylor University in Waco, TX.
This concert will last roughly one hour and is free and open to the public, though donations will be accepted at the end of the concert. A reception will follow.Saturday, April 5 – 7:00 p.m.
Rachel Mahon is the Director of Music at Coventry Cathedral, England, where she is responsible for training and conducting the Cathedral Choir and running the music program. Prior to this, she was Assistant Organist at Chester Cathedral, and was Organ Scholar at St Paul's Cathedral in London, England, making history as the first female organist on staff in its 1400-year history. She tours the world giving concerts and coaching choirs.
