What is Cub Scouts?
Pack 3042, chartered by the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in 2023, operates under the guidelines of Boy Scouts of America (BSA) as incorporated on February 8, 1910, and charted by Congress in June 1916, which is to provide for boys and girls an effective educational program designed to build desirable qualities of character; to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship; and to develop personal fitness; physically, mentally, and morally.
Who can participate in Cub Scouts?
Pack 3042 is open to ALL Boys and Girls in grades K-5. Although chartered with the Catholic Church, participation is non-denominational, multicultural, and an excellent opportunity for children to develop social skills at their own pace and according to their needs.
What schools are involved with Pack 3042?
Pack 3042 includes students from Bishop John Carroll Cathedral School, John Rex Charter School, Young Achievers Christian Academy and Buchanan Elementary School covering grades K-5. We are within the Scissortail District of the Last Frontier Council.
