The Cathedral will host a special event on April 10 featuring renowned author and speaker Immaculée Ilibagiza, who will share her powerful story of faith, hope, and forgiveness.
A survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, Immaculée endured unimaginable suffering, spending 91 days in hiding as her family and community were tragically taken from her. Through faith and prayer, she not only survived but also found the strength to forgive. Her testimony has since inspired people around the world, offering a profound message of resilience and God’s mercy.
The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a time of fellowship, a book sale, and a signing opportunity.
This is a rare opportunity to hear Immaculée’s firsthand account of how faith can triumph over fear and love can overcome hate. Her story reminds us of the power of prayer, the grace of forgiveness, and the hope that faith brings even in the darkest moments.
