For over 15 years the Cathedral has helped teens to put their faith to action. Saints of Service is a week-long community service program for junior high and high school students held each summer. Over four days, students participate in group service projects at various local organizations, with the support of parent/parish volunteers who help coordinate and provide transportation. The week concludes with a little fun such as going swimming, playing games in the gym or going somewhere together.
Each year, our community partnerships may vary, but past service sites have included Catholic Charities, Dead Coyote Hill, Sister BJ's Pantry, Regional Food Bank, Gospel of Life Disciples, Birth Choice, Center of Family Love, Salvation Army, Peppers Ranch, and Hope Center. This initiative provides students with meaningful opportunities to serve others while fostering a spirit of generosity and teamwork.
